OpenCTD rev7 Kit

$650.00

This kit contains all of the components and most of the consumables you will need to build you own CTD. Not included are the weights needed to ballast your OpenCTD, since the total weight you need will depend on the conditions you are working in, as well as the salinity standard for calibrating your CTD.

12,880 and 80,000 µm salinity standards are widely available. We recommend the Atlas Scientific Industrial Conductivity Calibration K 1.0 Set: https://atlas-scientific.com/calibration-solutions/industrial-conductivity-calibration-k-1-0-set/

Please consult http://oceanographyforeveryone.com/ and the Oceanography for Everyone GitHub repository for access to the workshop manual, software, and other support materials. Please note that the workshop manual will include numerous alternative built pathways and list parts not providing in your kit. Reference the included checklist to confirm that you have everything you need to build your CTD.

A list of recommended tools and consumables is also available at https://oceanographyforeveryone.bigcartel.com/recommended-tools.
